Kidnapped NLC Boss and wife
Kidnapped NLC Boss and wife

It is shocking to believe that the chairman Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC (CRS CHAPTER) Comrade Ben Ukpapi is still in the kidnappers Den.

It could be recalled that Comrade Ben Ukpapi was kidnapped at his recidence in Akpabuyo local government area of Cross River State, few  kilometers to Calabar the Cross River State capital.

It is disheartening and shocking to believe that almost three months after his kidnap, his whereabout cannot be disclosed.

All effort to get information from the security agencies have proven abortive.

No one is giving any reasonable answer as to his safe release.

I appreciate the effort of the security agencies so far , especially the commissioner of police CRS .CP .sadiq and also the NLC body for the effort so far.

I still want to appeal that more effort should be put in place for the search and rescue of  the NLC boss .

I also want to appeal to the kidnappers to to please look into the plight of Upkapi’s family and allow him home.

I also want to call on the media to do more for his release.

The national  leadership of the NLC should put down proactive measures for his release.

Comrade Ben ukpapi , a man of the people, a grassroorter ,a man who believe and stands for the truth should not be treated in  this manner of cruelty because he chooses to serve his people.

It’s really disheartening that youth who are supposed to put themselves into productive ventures, creative and reliable source of life have decided to indulge themselves on all sort of crime to survive at the detriment of others, making life more difficult and unbearable for the ordinary man .

Am therefore calling on fellow youths to brace up to the leadership challenges ahead and Shun unlawful, criminal, Barbaric acts that are capable of causing tension , insecurity , hunger, economic and social backwardness on our dear state and county in general.

Youth should not be allowed to be used for mischief.

Release comrade Ben ukpapi Alive.
